Thank you to everyone who participated and helped with our 2012 Disciple Now! We had over 40 students sign up and go with us to the PlanetWisdom conference. Check back for photos from our event. News about next year's DNOW will come out later in the year.

Disciple Now is one of the most important  events we do all year in the student ministry of DFBC!  If you are in 7th through 12th grade, you will not want to miss out on this life-changing discipleship retreat event!  Groups will meet in homes with guest group leaders – a great chance to make deeper friendships and to receive spiritual direction through a new mentor!  It begins with a pre-weekend dinner on Thursday at 6:30 PM. On Friday at 5:00 PM we will meet at DFBC for pizza before we leave for the PlanetWisdom Conference at Irving Bible Church. The weekend ends with the service in the Worship Center on Sunday morning.  In-depth Bible study, discussion, crazy games, and worship are all part of the event.  But we will be missing something if you are not there.  Be there, and encourage some friends to register!  Pass the word along!

Don't forget to bring these important things:

• Bible
• At least one 2-liter bottle drink and one bag of chips
• Something to write with
• Sleeping bag, bedding and pillow
• PJs or Clothes to sleep in
• Change of clothes for Saturday and Sunday morning (We will all wear our cool Disciple Now T-shirts on Sunday.)
• Towel, if you shower (Please shower!)
• Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, & stuff like that.)
• Cards/Games
• A willing heart, encouraging words, and an open mind!

6:30 p.m. – DNow Kick-off Dinner (Fellowship Hall) – *bring sleeping bags/bedding for weekend

5:00 p.m. – Youth meet at DFBC, place overnight stuff in group’s specified vehicle, gather in the Fellowship Hall for pizza.  (Pizza served until 5:30.)

5:45 – Load up & head to Irving Bible Church for PlanetWisdom

6:30 – Doors for conference open

7:00 – Youth Leader’s prayer gathering & orientation

7:30 – SESSION 1: What Is Your Attitude Toward the Bible?

8:45 – SESSION 2: Why Can We Trust What the Bible Says?

10:30 – Head to host homes/discussion in vehicle & get settled in

11:30 – Group prayer/Bedtime

6:45 a.m. – Breakfast

7:30 – Groups meet at DFBC then head to Irving Bible Church for PlanetWisdom

8:30 – Doors for conference open

9:00 – SESSION 3: Taking a Walk Through the Bible

10:45 – SESSION 4: How to Study the Bible

12:30 p.m. – Lunch with groups (in park next to church)

4:30 – PlanetWisdom ends & head to DFBC
