Rupert Robbins was called to minister at Duncanville’s First Baptist Church on April 1, 1997 (no “fooling”). Rupert served as lay-minister in West Texas for many years while working in the private sector as a business manager and owner. He felt called to ministry as a young man and serves First Baptist as his first church staff position.

Rupert's servant heart, business savvy and personal-ministry touch have made him a blessing to the whole church for many years.

He is married to Becky, and they have two daughters. His hobbies include long drives with his wife, flying and “pun making.”
