Julie joined our staff in March of 2005 as our Children's Ministry Coordinator and Mother's Day out Director and has given great leadership to our ever-growing Children and Pre-School Ministries. The Lord has allowed Julie to work with children starting at a young age as she started babysitting at twelve.  She feels like children are one of God's greatest gifts.  Julie wants to make sure that all children know they are loved and safe at DFBC. In 2011 Julie took on the roll of Children's Ministry Director.

Julie is married to her high school sweetheart, Richard.  They have been married for 32 years.  They have three grown daughters; Amy, Jennifer and Amanda.  Two of the girls have families allowing for 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 20 to newborn.  They spend lots of time with the girls and their families; they feel blessed to have their grandchildren in the metro plex area.

She definitely has experience with children.  We are grateful to have her as a part of our staff at DFBC.
