30 Days of Prayer for Youth

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since our first 30 Days of Prayer for our teenagers. For those of you that are new to our church family, the Parent Lead Team, a committee established to encourage parents of teenagers and assist Greg Bowman, our youth minister, organized a month of prayer last September. It was a special time for our church as we focused on our youth in prayer.

We know that prayer is one of our most powerful tools against Satan. We also know by looking at our world’s values that he is crouching and waiting to devour our children. He desires that their focus is not on Godly principles. As we embark upon our 30 Days of Prayer for 2010, let our focus be on God and His faithfulness. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” We need to help our youth focus on God in prayer.

Join us again in September as we pray for the youth of our church.
