This year the Youth Choir will be traveling to Orlando Florida to participate in SonPower. This will be a power-packed week of Bible study, music, and missions where we have partnered with the IMB (International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention) to combine music and missions with over 1200 other students from Baptist youth choirs from across the country
Mission Trips, Musicals and Choir tours are all part of the ministry opportunities through Youth Choir. Last summer the Youth Choir travelled to Denia, Spain and ministered at Colegio Alpha y Omega by leading Children’s block parties in the city and presenting concerts in the cites of Alcoy, Xativa as well as Denia. They also recorded their first album during their stay in Denia.
The choir has also toured Rio Bravo, Mexico, South Florida, the Riverwalk in San Antonio, and West Texas where we sang in Palo Duro Canyon on the stage of the play, TEXAS.
No audition is required to participate, and all 7th through 12th graders are welcome to join. Youth Choir meets Sundays at 5:00 PM throughout the year.
